Most of the girls went for a run or for a walk, a few of us stayed behind and hung out by the pool. One of us may have used staying behind to update the blog as an excuse. Just saying, this takes longer than you may think.
We had a late breakfast of croissants, breads, jams, fruit, etc. Then wandered the grounds taking more pictures.
There was a mad rush later in the day to take showers so that we could head out to dinner. This, of course, led to even more group photos. Yes, you will be sick of seeing us in group shots almost as much as I am already sick of having to be in them.
We went to Leonette in the town of Pancole for dinner, where we annoyed all of the other people in the restarant by being loud Americans. What can I say, we just have to be ourselves. Several people branched out with their food choices, including wild boar, bread soup, and swordfish. There may or may not have been numerous bottles of wine drank throughout the day and at the restaraunt. I'll never tell.
Once we arrived back at the villa, several of the girls decided to decend upon our neighbors and there was suddenly an impromptu get together involving additional wine. The neighboring villa is huge and the fire place in the dining area was big enough to have several people stand in it. Well, several people if they were all short like me.
Thanks to Gabbi for the pic of the massive fireplace.
There are about 16 people staying in the villa next to us, most of them from the Baltimore area. One of them grew up in northern Minnesota. Even in Italy you can't get away from us Minnesotans.
When we finally managed to come back to our villa, there was some type of dance party and general joyous celebrating.
We are off to San Gimignano on Monday. Let the adventure continue to roll.
Caio for now!

All I need to know is has sister Mary stood on her head yet? It's the only true gauge to whether or not she is having a great time!
